About Yū
Yū Studios was built for real life. For people who commute, juggle work and creativity, and don’t have the time to travel across the city for a studio class. We don’t practice yoga to be better at yoga - we practice to be better at life.
At its heart, Yū is about finding joy through movement. Not through intensity or perfection, but through the simple, grounding rhythm of returning to your body. Moving in a way that feels supportive, steady and human. Through live classes that create gentle accountability and an intentionally curated on-demand library that avoids overwhelm, this space is about consistency over extremes -small practices that quietly add up.
Rooted in the idea that the body is your house - your shell - Yū represents kindness and gentle strength: resilience built through softness, repetition and care. Movement here is purposeful, but it is also human.
Built in Dublin, accessible anywhere, Yū is thoughtful and sustainable - designed to support the life you live beyond the mat.
Niamh Moody
Founder & TeacherNiamh has been teaching yoga for six years and her practice has been a constant in her life - something she has returned to through change, pressure, growth and uncertainty.
Alongside teaching, Niamh works in the corporate world in Dublin. She understands the early alarms, the long commutes, the pressure of deadlines and the low-level hum of stress that can quietly build in the body. Yoga, for her, has never been about escape - it has been about support. A way to create space, perspective and steadiness within the realities of everyday life.
Her classes are shaped by Katonah principles - structure, breathwork, geometry and thoughtful sequencing - but they are always human. She blends dynamic movement with deeper stretches, intelligent pacing with music that carries the rhythm of the practice. There is precision, but there is also softness. She believes joy is not something separate from discipline - it can be cultivated through movement, breath and consistency.
